At UL, you will develop skills that will not only make you an excellent teacher, but an excellent person. Interdisciplinary skills,>Interpersonal skills, Soft skills that are valued across society. We have a long history of providing education in the areas of STEM, and P.E and we are really excited now to be introducing a bachelor of of education in languages and computer science. Here in UL, school placement is embedded in all of our teacher education programmes. We are student-focused, we really care and we are passionate about working with you. Education is different at UL, because of the integration of all the different facets of your degree programme. Your subject specific knowledge, your professional knowledge, is all linked to your subject-based classroom knowledge. So, I chose UL for its dual degree aspect of science education. You are not ring-fenced into just doing a science or just doing education, you come out with the dual degree. So, I suppose the best thing about my course would be the practical aspect of it. So you have your practical element of the labs and you also have the eighteen weeks provided by the college of hands on school experience.
